Selenthia Jeffers spent seventeen years in the telecommunication industry - starting in sales and advancing to being a nationally recognized multi-store manager. During that tenure, she opened new stores and flipped poor-performing ones. She had high retention and provided pathways for her team members to move into leadership roles. Paramount to her success was her ability to foster relationships with colleagues, as well as to ensure representation was reflected on her teams. Not only did this lead to financial success, but it also created a culture where staff looked forward to working together and felt a sense of belonging. As she realized the need for systemic-level DEI work, she pivoted her career and transferred her skills into consulting. Certified now as an Intercultural Development Inventory administrator, Selenthia helps individuals, agencies, and organizations become more inclusive
